Just bring you and your warm layers. All necessary equipment is provided as well as hearty snacks, coffee, soft-drinks, (& classic Maine Guide's lunch on full-day trips) are also included.
About Our Ice Fishing
The fishing doesn't have to end just because it gets cold out... in fact, we take our ice fishing just as seriously as our fly and spin-casting.

IRONBOUND OUTDOORS provides the Moosehead and Kennebec Valley Region's premier guided ice fishing service. Our equipment is new and top-notch, safety is our #1 priority, and most importantly - we know how to find the fish.

With our base located in The Forks, we can conveniently access all of the water bodies in upper Kennebec Valley area, to include our primary fisheries of Moosehead Lake, Wyman Lake, Wood Pond and a few others off the beaten path that we like to keep a bit more secret :)

We maintain a semi-permanent ice house on Moosehead Lake near Rockwood which boasts breathtaking views of iconic Mt. Kineo and is fully-equipped for a perfect day of ice fishing. We're also equipped with a fully-mobile outfit (including an insulated pop-up shelter) for a comfortable and productive fishing trip on any of the nearby waterbodies.

Ice Fishing trips can easily be adapted to a more educational experience if you're looking to learn the ropes of ice fishing. Put simply - zero experience required!
