IRONBOUND OUTDOORS provides professionally outfitted and guided spin and fly fishing trips in Maine’s beautiful Kennebec River, Dead River, and Moosehead regions specializing in remote fishing for trout, landlocked salmon, and smallmouth bass. We offer a variety of fishing styles from floating rivers and remote ponds, to "hike & hook" style small-water fishing on remote mountain streams, and plenty in between.

Your friendly, knowledgable and professional Maine Guide can provide transportation to-and-from your local accommodations to the water and will assist in finding fish, tackle choices, and tactics. We invite you to bring your own gear (and are happy to help you build your outfit to suit your trip prior to arriving), but can also supply all fishing equipment if desired. We provide water and light snacks for half-day trips, and a hearty "shore lunch" on full-day trips.

All trips are catch and release so be sure to bring a good camera to memorialize your catch! For trophy landings your guide will be at the ready to take the proper measurements and photos to be passed on to a replica taxidermist. You should also come prepared with a good hat, sunglasses, SPF, and rain gear (while we will reschedule for severe weather, we do fish in the rain).
